I arrived at a home for an ac not cooling. I found that the indoor filter was in need of changing. after evaluating the system , I noted that the outdoor coil was severely clogged with debris. I performed a deep chemical clean and was able to restore the coil to factory condition. I then cycled the unit and found that it was low on refrigerant, indicating a leak in the system. The customer opted to recharge the unit, and next year, we will be looking to install a new unit.
